At some point I'm sure you've been told that writers should write every day if they want to be successful. I don't personally believe that. But I do believe in doing whatever works best to motivate you.
If sticking to a strict daily writing schedule is helpful to you, or if you're looking to try something new to motivate yourself, I encourage you to take part in a month-long "write every day" challenge. I've added a new challenge section to the forums so you can share your progress with others, and I'm releasing another free downloadable tracker you can use if you choose to take this challenge.
You can preview or download the tracker below or visit the write every day challenge section of the forums.
Note, there is a known issue on Google's end where sometimes the document preview will show an error message saying the bandwidth limits were reached. This isn't the case. But if that happens, you can either reload the page (it usually comes up correctly then) or you can simply click the download link that will be provided along with the error message.
If you haven't checked out the other writing challenges yet, you can do so in the writing challenges section of the forums. There are downloadable goodies to help you stay on track for each challenge, from writing 30 blog posts in a month to reaching a monthly word count goal on your current book. While you don't have to be a registered member of the community to read the challenge introductions and get the downloadable resources, I encourage you to register (it's free) so you can post your own challenge thread to share your progress with, and seek support from, the community.
